This custom collection of covers are hand painted and sewn by racquet loving local women in the Philadelphia area. With this collaboration Maureen and Aimee hand selected each piece to coordinate the colors of the cover with the image painted. These are one of a kind paddle covers.
Meet Maureen.
Maureen's Background: While majoring in Government and Law in college, I found time to study Art History and took as many art classes as my schedule would allow. My passion for art drives me to create every day. My works will feature acrylic paint, oil pastels, charcoal to create original abstact art pieces. They add color and impact to any home.
Medium: Maureen primarily works with acrylics, pastels, and charcoal to create one of a kind mixed media pieces. Each piece manifests in its own individual style.
Inspiration: Maureen spends most of her summer at the beach. The movement and fluidity of the water is a huge influcence on my work. I love bright bold colors and am drawn to different textures . Color and texture are the center features in all of her work whether on canvas or works on paper.
